Overview

In 2024 I photographed two big days for SECO ECOPLASTIC, a Korean-owned manufacturer that opened a new plant in Statesboro, Georgia. In August, the company's CEO visited. I covered his arrival, the staff welcome, and a ceremonial tree planting outside the plant. In November I came back for the completion ceremony: the speeches, the unveiling of the completion stone, the ribbon and cake cutting, and a full-staff portrait in front of the new building.

Event days don't come with second takes. I worked the room for candid moments and key handshakes while staying out of the program's way, then edited and delivered more than 200 photos across the two days.
