Overview

DON'T starts out as a straight-faced public service announcement and slowly turns into something else: a girl and her two friends piecing together one very bad night. It's a comedy that pokes fun at trailers, PSAs, and the film industry in general.

Dominic Barrow wrote, produced, and directed it, and the two of us made it together. The idea actually spun off from Page Turner, a bigger short film we're still making. I shot, edited, and scored DON'T, and we made three fake trailers to run before it, each spoofing a different genre: The Picker ("The Picker never leaves the field"), The Gobbling Part 2 ("Some birds never make it out the oven"), and The Ripening ("Something's wrong with Granny").
